| 1. Remove a cowl. |
| 2. Remove the accumulator. |
| 3. Lift and fix a forward part of the car, remove the bottom guard of the engine. |
| 4. Merge cooling liquid and engine oil, remove the oil filter. |
| 5. Pit pressure in fuel system and remove the engine control unit. |
|
6. Uncover the block of the relay and disconnect sockets from the relay of system of injection of fuel. |
|
7. Disconnect sockets of a plait of wires of the engine from the relay block. |
|
8. Disconnect sockets of a plait of the wires, located behind the accumulator. |
|
9. Unscrew a grounding wire in a forward part of the engine and if the plait of wires of the engine is connected to the block of safety locks, remove the block. |
|
10. Disconnect a plait of wires from the block of safety locks. |
| SOHC engines in volume 2,0 liters |
| 11. Remove the air filter and forward section of an inlet pipe. Disconnect hoses of giving and fuel return from the fuel highway. Disconnect a rope of an accelerator and a system rope control cruise from a throttle, remove an arm of ropes. Disconnect hoses from an inlet collector. |
| 12. Remove the DIS module and establish an arm for engine lifting into place. |
| 13. Disconnect a hose of cooling liquid of the engine from a tube. Disconnect the top hose of a radiator from a head of cylinders. |
| 14. Remove cooling fan of a radiator. |
| 15. Disconnect the compressor of the air conditioner (if it is established) and shift it aside. Do not disconnect from the compressor hoses. |
| 16. Remove the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering and shift it aside. Do not disconnect hoses from the pump. |
| 17. Fix the engine on the lift and remove a transmission. |
| 18. Check, that all hoses and the wires disturbing to removal of the engine, were disconnected. |
| 19. Braid nuts of arms of the left and right support of the engine. |
| 20. Remove the engine and lower it on a floor. |
| DOHC engines in volume 2,0 liters |
| 21. Remove the air filter and a throttle casing. Remove forward section of an exhaust pipe. |
| 22. Disconnect fuel hoses from the fuel highway. Disconnect a hose from the valve of secondary system of an admission of the air located on a final collector and disconnect all hoses from an inlet collector. |
| 23. Disconnect a hose of cooling liquid of the engine from a tube. Disconnect the top hose of a radiator from a head of cylinders. |
| 24. Remove the engine, being guided by points (see items 14-21). |
| Engines in volume 2,5 and 3,0 liters |
| 25. Remove the motor of screen wipers of a windscreen. |
| 26. Remove a radiator. |
| 27. Disconnect the top hose of a radiator from a tube of cooling liquid. |
|
28. Carefully clean connections of hoses and tubes of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering. Disconnect a hose (And) supply of liquid from the pump and merge liquid in suitable capacity. Braid a nut and disconnect a tube (In) from the pump. |
|
29. Remove the air filter and air inlets. Disconnect a rope of an accelerator and a system rope control cruise from a throttle and from a fixing arm. Remove forward pipes of final system. Disconnect fuel hoses from the fuel highway. |
|
30. Disconnect all hoses from an inlet collector. Disconnect a hose from the valve of secondary system of an admission of air. |
|
31. Disconnect hoses of multiline system of a fence of air from a tube сервоблока. |
|
32. Disconnect hoses of cooling liquid from a broad tank. |
|
33. Remove tank fastenings |
|
34. Remove a tank, having disconnected a wire from the sensor of level of liquid. |
|
35. Disconnect hoses from a heater radiator. |
|
36. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the locking valve of a radiator. |
|
37. In the models equipped with the air conditioner, disconnect from the compressor a wire and coolant tubes. Disconnect a wire from the compressor. |
|
38. Disconnect the tubes of a coolant located over the left head of cylinders. |
|
39. Disconnect the tubes of a coolant located in a forward part of the engine. |
|
40. Disconnect an arm of the shock-absorber and shift the shock-absorber aside. |
Prevention
For carrying out the procedure described in points with 37 on 40, it is necessary to address to the expert.

|
41. Remove caps from engine ears, fix the engine on the lift and remove a transmission. |
| 42. Check, that all hoses and the wires disturbing to removal of the engine, were disconnected. |
| 43. Unscrew bolts and remove shock-absorbers of the left and right support of the engine. |
| 44. Braid the nuts, fixing left and right support of the engine to arms of the engine and a body. |
|
45. Remove the engine and lower it on a floor. |
